Those are really scarce right now, even my ICU patients are rarely getting them. Then again, he might get lucky with his pre existing conditions.
In addition to National shortages, They are usually only given within 10 days from symptom onset/& with a positive Covid test, so patients may not be getting it because they are outside of a timeframe protocol. We often get transfers from rural hospitals with Covid ards & its well past the Covid diagnosis, so the antibodies won’t work anyway. The Covid damage is done & now we are dealing with ards, multi organ failure, septic shock, etc
