I think thats about the best 3 rolexes to get, in my opinion. although I would be leaning more towards getting a 228238 presidential model.
If I did a DD it would be a 218238 as I’d want the 41MM

Had a 38mm DD when I was younger. Didn’t care for it as the wear small anyway and at 38mm it looked like a woman’s watch.

Speaking of, I bought my Wife an 1803 and then jazzed it up a little. You can see it on her here…

Nope. Original divers Rolex was 1953 and only 36mm.
I spoke poorly, divers and chronograph started driving increase in sizes starting in the 50s. Want 300m water resistance… you have to fit it somewhere. I’m going smaller for my next one. A Heuer Carrera 3648 would be nice… I don’t want to look at the price though :)
