Thanks Adam. I still can't get over how perfect the dial and hands look. Aside from a tiny bit of wear on the case, it looks as-new. Not bad for being 66 years old.

The Tachymeter is very correct.
Flew a lot back in the day. Some of the airplanes would have an indicator that showed air speed.
If we were traveling over an area like Oklahoma where everything is laid out in 1 mile squares, I could pick out a speck of dust on the window, start the Tachymeter, and stop it when the speck crossed the mile line.
Look up at the speed indicator and it matched very closely.
