LOL. shooting rats from the tractor, ya know I gotta try that now don't cha. I need to get me a scabbard put on the tractor. Years ago I had call to get rid of a bunch of little cedars and 12g 00 buck did nicely. Bout 50 rounds or better of it and the shoulder felt it that evening but it sure was fun.View attachment 231445Due to some unfortunate circumstances, our little range had to get moved out to my grandmas in chickasha. It’s a little further out, but not too bad. She’s got an old pond, that doesn’t hold water, that makes a great backstop. I was out there doing a little brush hogging and shot around 10 field rats off the tractor with a pump 12 gauge! It was a great day! I’ll hopefully be going out next Saturday for a little less mowing and a little more shooting! Who wants to come? Lol
It was a blast! Lol, and surprisingly easy. I just kept my finger on the safety, and kept it propped up on my knee. Steering that old 58 Ford tractor with one hand was fun! Didn’t even stop the tractor for a few of them little rat b@stards ….I’ve never thought about firearms for tree removal, but I can dig it!LOL. shooting rats from the tractor, ya know I gotta try that now don't cha. This thread just had me buy 3 new pcs of ar 500 from e bay, seller I've done biz with before. Putting the range back together and I bought 10' 2x4s thus giving more hanger room. Bought 2-4x6 diamonds and a 2.5"x10" beer bottle, $30.00. Glad ar 500 hasn't skyrocketed But shhhh I don't want joe to know.It was a blast! Lol, and surprisingly easy.
