I have been made fun of multiple times by people who don't get it either. Who think I am some crazy whack-a-doo (they may be onto something.) They inevitibly call me "paranoid." At that I just say, "The only difference between being paranoid and being prepared is one incident. One thing happens and ya'll will say, 'Boy, it's lucky you had that gun!'..... 'NO. It's prepared I had that gun.'" I don't expect that to help you with your wife situation, just made me think of it. My girlfriend is that way too though. She knows not to show up unannounced though. Text first. She doesn't get it, but there have been multiple times she has seen some shady character or been in an odd situation and later said she was really glad I was there and knowing I had a gun or wished I was there with my gun. She loves the protection, but not enough to do it herself. :anyone:
