Friends,
I’ve found my self a very neat (and well loved) Winchester 62 .22LR slide action (estimation 1938). I’m having an issue with the lockup of the action when hammer is cocked or in the safe orientation. I believe the slide lock pin face has worn down to the point of in consistent pressure of the lockup system. The pictures below show the locking plate. Notice the pin is flat where as the pin (in picture 3) on homestead parts has a small “teet”. I was curious if anyone has ever had an issue similar to this and how it was remedied.
Thanks in advance!
