from time to time i would take equipment to danang from dong ha via the cau viet river. we went on old navy landing craft down the river to the sea, the trip down the river was always locked and loaded. the squids on the boats would clear their weapons after exiting the river and a few miles off shore. one such boat had 2 thompsons on board, i got to fire one, it was a straight mag version not a drum and jammed after 3 rounds. i let the squids fire my full auto m14 for the chance to fire the thompson, i don't know who got the best of that bargain

Thank GOD they are not running through the chipper. I get sick to my stomach thinking about some of the guns OHP has run through their chipper and destroyed. It's a travesty.

What would one expect the Tommy guns to sell for? I don't dabble in auto guns, so don't have a clue.

Midwest Distributors is purchasing each of the 27 Tommy guns for $22,000 apiece, for a total of $618,500.
