The Bilson is an auto-loader. The pump action merely charges the weapon; from then on it functions just like any other AR. The pump action forearm just replaces the usual ambi charging handle. I have handled a couple of these and they are very well made, solid weapons.
Thanks for the clarification. I completely missed that!

That guy in Australia that's culling camels uses a pump style AR. Works good for him.

Australia has suffered some of the worst plagues in Human History!
Giant Monitor Lizards, Huge Birds, Toxic Snakes/Spiders/Mollusks, 'Roos,
The 'Emu Wars', Cane-Toads, Jack-Bunnies, Drop Bears, Camelhumphalumps, and the
WORST TERRORs of ALL......Politicians bent on destroying the economy & killing EVERYbody.

....Except for all the Natural Dangers....it's just like Home.

I saw that some place in Australia was making Camel Meat & Dairy products....including
Camel Milk Beer.....Yum.
Also Kenya has a big Camel Dairy.
I guess the (lean) meat is delicious....
IF ya grind in some Hump Fat.

Lots of websites that don't explain 'what is is or does' end in '.gov'.
Perhaps some vague connection?
WWED? (What Would Eugene Do ?)
I doubt this contraption would be 'Stoner Approved'.
.....But my opinion, divided 8.1B, may not mean much.

After 20k rounds of 5.56/223 over the years, yes, I've had plenty of jams.
BUT, I don't think this would help.
Typically the rim is ripped off and I'm left with a round stuck in the chamber, SOOO, you want innovation or forward thinking, carry a cleaning rod. Same thing they use to do 40+ years ago.
With a relatively straight wall cartridge, small extractor, and a dirty chamber, it's bound to happen.
I mean, i usually shoot more than 20 rounds when I go to the range unlike most people that shoot 20 from the bench then go home and clean their gun, yeah, they're not typically gonna have jams.
