Crap - I thought I had resisted this thread, but I think I need an OD Ridgeback badly. That one doesn't appear to have blind-screws - is that a Chicago-screw setup or a female barrel connector inbetween two Torx screws?

I've got either the Corby bolts (male/female sides that tighten down on a shoulder I step-drill into the handle material) or the 8-32 torx that screw into a stainless female stand-off, or barrel connector. The torx are non-fuctional: everything is screwed and glued.

There's a batch headed to Oklahoma Police Supply within the next two weeks: four Ridgebacks of that batch will be OD green G10 with black G10 liners & OD green kydex sheath. Some will have carbon fiber handles and others will be black G10.

Oscar Mikes and Alpha Echos will be available too! I had to get through this last bunch of knives for the Blade show...

...including two that were sent to a photographer in Tennessee for an article for Knives Illustrated. There, the cat's out of the bag. Don't know what month the article will be in but I'll let you guys know when I find out.

Edit: I may have just screwed up a good hobby ;)

Thanks!

A big Thank You for all of your support!

I just swung by OPS today and found that the cupboard is bare...NO knives in the case. Gotta go make some dust!

ETA: Black on Black would be just sweet! Bring it on Bill!!!!!!

Is that not wicked or what......:mosh: Talk about a mirror finish......I love your Oscar Mikes and AE's....I am still waiting for that RB folder to come out. I know Brian AKA Frstr8 is too......LOL We both talk about your blades quite often.

That AE looks great, I have to get my hands on some CF soon.

Shame on you guys, you just missed out on some BC cutlery. :smack:

Thanks for giving that time, Bill.

Chris

Hey Chris, I just found out that a guy in Bartlesville just picked up that Ridgeback with the carbon fiber scales and red liners in the photo above.

That's one of the knives that's going to be in the upcoming Knives Illustrated article. I'd actually thought about buying it back from Les Robertson but he beat me to it!

Rule #1: don't collect your own knives...

:)
