Melee weapons !!!

What melee or hand held weapons would you want for dealing the undead / other unfriendly types or to save your ammo for your"last time stand" ?

Hand and half sword , two hand sword ,any horsekiller sword ?

Pole ax, halberd ?

short swords ?

battle ax ?

mace, war club ,morring star ?

spears ?

So what would you use if restocking ammo was not going to happen for a very long time if at all ? And you needed to do alot of killing .

My common USA brand military matchete will trump those numchucks. While your doing the arena style wind up to the finale, I'll be taking out your legs, arms, and so on.

Not really a hand held weapon but if i could somehow capture that "you just pizzed me off look" i get from my wife occassionally.

That look would kill the undead by the troves.

A samurai sword seems to be light and quick. The broad sword would be more useful though and most likely more durable.
