I was going to leave this alone, but here goes anyway. The first question about quality came from your dear brother Shadow Rider. I merely pointed out that there are cheaper alternatives out there initially. He's the one that stated that BCMs are not DPMS or Delton. So you are wrong on the pint of me being the only one bringing up quality. I brought up price, quality was ASSumed by you two.

No, you posted this:

except they forgot to include the rest of the rifle for that price. when people get smart and stop paying these prices, they'll come back down.
Which makes as much sense as anything else you've posted - it's like you can't tell the difference between higher-priced ARs / lower-priced ARs and the inflated prices vs pre Sandy Hook prices. You're confusing two different things entirely, but instead of admitting that, you just continued ignoring what people told you and moved on to other poo to fling.

As soon as Shadow brought up that these weren't the same as less expensive guns, you got butthurt and went right to "just as good". How do you even know Shadow was saying BCM was "better" than your brand(s)? Maybe he was just saying they're more expensive and always have been so your statement about the market was completely invalid (which it was and still is).

About military contracts......it goes to the lowest bidder. The gun companies decide whether they want the contract or not, not the individual soldier Peace Maker.

What are you even arguing about here? Military contracts go to the lowest qualified bidder - qualifications aren't determined by the gun companies and the individual soldier has nothing to do with it but no worries - stick and move (avoiding the obvious fact that you're making no sense).

As far as price determining quality, LWRC is expensive and used by SF teams. This is established.
My father works for LWRC and they have so many quality control issues that it isn't funny. The sights will literally rattle themselves apart with repeated firing. They've sent thousands back because of this. Barrel issues in many cases keep the guns from even shipping out.
Awesome. What is "so many that it isn't funny" in comparison to other companies like the ones that are cheaper and "just as good"? Without comparing, you're just flinging more poo as you avoid actually discussing anything. What if the companies you're so butthurt over actually have even more quality control issues? What if they don't, but use less expensive materials or skip certain steps in manufacturing?

Anyway, price point is that people who continue to purchase these products at inflated prices are helping to keep the market high. Whatever, I heard enough about ARs to last me a life time. They are overrated underpowered rifles at best. I don't recall any bolt gun builders having to go through all of this crap to ensure a quality firearm. Parts fit and they fire, simple enough.
BCM never raised prices - a point that you continue dancing around and not acknowledging. If you've listened to "what you've heard about ARs" as well as you've read responses in this thread, then that's not very much at all. I'm not even sure what you're talking about with the bolt-guns comment - higher quality manufacturers use better materials/processes/more-skilled labor and produce products that are more expensive than others in the bolt-gun world as well (GAP, Surgeon, etc... all make higher-priced options that have little to do with inflated prices from recent events in the news).

Maybe the legislature should push for 10 round mags and minimum caliber requirements for hunting since apparently everyone in Oklahoma buying these up is preparing for war or is some kind of "undercover operator".
So, because nobody is buying your completely baseless statements about how all ARs are the same, the state government should pass more laws against gun-owners and now everyone who disagrees with you is a mall-ninja? Are you even a gun-owner or is this Joe Biden among us?

On that note, I'm done with this board. If I wanted regurgitated crap spewed about how one is better than another, I'd go to Arfcom.
Nothing in this post makes any sense at all, but that is the greatest statement in this entire thread. You've done nothing but spew regurgitated (wrong) info this entire thread so OSA is better off without you. Come back when you can discuss things without trolling.

I was specifically trying NOT to pile on the lesser brands. It's pretty common knowledge most budget guns are pretty reliable for the most part. Just as I said it's all relative to the intended use. If you buy a $700 AR and expect it to perform the same as the upper tier guns that cost twice as much, you are very likely going to be disappointed when you run it hard.

Curious about this. What did they do?

They have made several statements and would refuse to sell any products to non LE/Military. They soon discovered how much money they were losing and changed the restrictions a little.

Law enforcement is what the LE69xx means.
