It's just so sad. Yes, he gave his life to show us all that the civil rights struggle is far from over. His death truly illustrates what the 60+ years of struggle are really about.

When a young man like that, full of hope and promise, an encouragement to others, and truly a benefit to his community is gunned down in cold blood, I think martyr is exactly the correct term.

May his short life and violent death at the hands of that evil, plotting, racist White Hispanic be a lesson for us all.
