Yes sir, complete with the double dew claws and all. While they look so gentle being white and fluffy when they stand up, look you in the eye and let out a big WOOF! they seem just a little more manly.

That is my lab/ Pyrenees mix. She was found at a McDonald's when she was about a month old but that is what the vet thinks she is because of her dew claws. She only has one but it is crazy loose and can be twisted around like nobody's business. Nicest dog in the world to humans, immediately fights almost any dog she meets. My cousin is watching her while I'm in Costa Rica so hopefully I'll get a video from her that she posted on facespace. She is the best dog I could have possibly hoped for and most people I meet say the same thing about her. She made me want a full blood Pyrenees.

My dogs don't bark.
Barking is a learned trait. They get it from other dogs.

Ours have been raised in the country, not around other barking dogs. They never heard a dog bark.

I remember living in town when a train came through. They would start barking everywhere. Some use barking as a communication, (coyotes and wolves).

I hate going to our best friends house. The allow their dogs to bark without any discipline. Think its cute or something. I'm sure their neighbors don't think its cute.

I would have to go with blue healer's. The toughest dog I've ever seen was a blue healer. His job was to heard horses and cows and they were all scared to death of him. I saw his face bloodied many times from the kick of a horse. He would just go back for more. It was pretty amazing to watch him work.

I have to agree with this! If a man was just half as tough as a blue healer, he would be a real, true badass! The punishment they can take and just keep going is unbelievable. Some are good and some are not, but they are all tough.
