I want one in .22 mag, stainless action and a decent looking laminated wood stock.

I have a ton of Tupperware based guns.

I want one of these guns but not in the blah-blah plastic.

IMHO, the only way that you will get your wish is if Davidson's, Talo, Lipsey's, AcuSport, etc. makes a special/exclusive run of them with the laminated stock feature OR you will have to buy the rifle yourself and then you will also have to buy an aftermarket laminated stock that you will have to put on the rifle. I could be wrong? I was really suprised and astounded when Ruger finally broke down and started putting detachable/screw-on grip panels on their 22/45 pistols. But then, there were so many people already doing it(custom manufacturing/machining the frames for the panels), they would have been fools not to cash-in on this very good idea.
