Those guys at that store are complete dicks.

Sent from my meh, using my meh.

That's what I thought about them too. I went in looking for a beginner set-up for my son and all they did was just point to the other end of the store and said look over there. I won't be back.

The guys in our club built courses that go under hoops, thru the woods, past the parking lot, by the river etc, while flying FPV.
In April we sponsored an event that brought in about 50 pilots from all over OK. and Kansas.
They usually have extra FPV glasses so spectators can go along for the ride.
They also experiment with different multi rotor designs using 3-D printers.

I stuck with helicopters since I already have so much $$ tied up in them.

Ok so I see a lot of votes of confidence for blade and think this is what I'm going to get.

I think I will start to get parts for a big out door build just slowly ( I will have time to learn to fly this by the time I get all the parts) I may need to jump on another forum to see if I have a coherent build.

go to helifreak.com read the newbie and training threads, there is also a battery area...read the FAQ's and Stickies. There is also Blade section. Chances are the local hobby shop's in OKC will stock Blade parts.

Since you are going with multirotor, there is sections for those at the website I suggested.

I bought a Trex450 a couple years ago. Going from a coaxial to a variable pitch was a huge learning curve. I probably crashed four out of the six times I flew it. Each time cost about 30 in parts.

I sold it and bought a Blade 350QX. The auto leveling is awesome.

Really? how are they going to prove what your doing? Don't see how that's different then using game cameras that show live video feed via cell towers.

It's my understanding that the ODW is reviewing this. Current game cameras can certainly shoot and transmit live video, but they can't follow and/or harass the animals like a drone can.
