We Cut Cox Cable off; we kept Cox Internet and got an Amazon Fire TV Stick, (already had a Roku) and can get all kinds of good stuff there. However, we have FIVE TVs in the house, and I need info on:
(1) TV Antennas
(2) How to hook it up so I can run multiple TVs off of it, if possible
(3) Or, is it better to just get a separate antenna for each of the TVs?

We live in Yukon, near Reno and Mustang road. Still getting decent local reception even without the expensive Cox boxes, but would like to improve the quality of reception since we have HD TV sets.

go to tvfool and run a report. Check out avsforum.com for advice.

I use a Winegard FV-30BB FreeVision Indoor/Outdoor HDTV Antenna mounted on the side of my house.

I think they have them at home depot now.

I'm much closer to the antenna farm, so your needs will be different. I run one antenna to five different tv's through a splitter w/no amp.

I would check out a channelmaster 4228hd. it may be enough, but a Yagi type antenna would work if you are just wanting coverage in one direction.

Not sure what happened but I fixed the link.
Having seperate antennas for each TV would be easier than running cable unless you are already wired.

Got it. Thanks. My house is wired for cable to all 5 TVs, but I just don't know how to set up and antenna in the attic or whatever and connect to it.

Very much appreciated. My house is wired for cable, I just need to figure out how to run the signal from an antenna to the TVs now. Must be a way to hook into it somewhere...

You might look for a splitter in the attic or where the cable comes into your house. The splitter I have is in the attic, but I don't subscribe to cable, so I just unhooked the input cable from the splitter, and hooked up a big outdoor-type antenna to the input jack. The antenna sits in the highest point of the attic. Presto, OTA broadcasts in any room in the house where there's a cable outlet, and the reception is usually pretty good.

ETA: what he said above.
