Ed Browns are the classy brunette on your arm at a cocktail party. Les Baers are the blonde nympho who goes with you to see Nugent in concert. Wilson is the drunk in the bar looking for a fight.

I'm only talking about a high end 1911. If I just wanted a bad-ass 45, I'd honestly buy a Glock 21. I know there's plenty of other top shelf units; but of the three I listed; if you could splurge and just buy one of those; which?

(PS: I like HKs fine. I'm just a Glock guy).

when surjimmy recommended the Les Baer, I did a little research on resale. The Wilson seemed to lose value on resale. The Brown seemed to have a limited market. Where the Baer seemed to hold its value pretty good.
