do you think that they will ever grant Oklahomans the right to carry a firearm under constitutional law? Meaning that, will we have the right to bear arms openly without a permit.

Did you just get the email too?
At least it's being discussed.

Here's the email I just got.
"Get off the Couch & Call Your Representative!"
SB6 is unlicensed carry of a firearm in Oklahoma. The bill is to be heard in the House of Representatives TOMORROW Wednesday, April 26. Call your Representative to support the bill at 405-521-2711. Support your rights and become a member at OK2A.org

Its a mixed bag for me. I like the idea, for sure...especially if its nation wide. However, since the chances of that are slim to none I'd still need a license in other states when I travel. Kinda sucks the way it is, they will reciprocate a states licenses, but not their constitutional carry laws.

I like it for the fact that I can leave the gun in the car (parked in garage) and not freak out when it is forgotten when the wife drives it, since she doesn't have a permit.

It makes no sense to me that we honor someone from Arizona in the state with their constitutional carry, but we cannot.
