What Pissed You Off Today?

I had a bit of a disagreement about something like this with one of my friends not long ago. He lives in Portland (and is quite proud of it) and he posted on Facebook that now (Rona-times) is a great time to support your local food trucks and went on to list a bunch of reasons why. 2 of the reasons were "owned by people of color" and "owned by LGBTQITFONUIO". My comment to him was "what does it matter what their skin looks like or who they sleep with? Either they are a good business to support or they aren't. I don't care if they are purple and prefer to sleep with stuffed sheep." That kind of ruffled his feathers a bit (his wife's even moreso). Luckily, we've been friends over 30 years and still are. His wife won't speak to me.

Why are you so mean? You know that telling someone the true will make them mad. This the 21st century for cry out lout.

Yeah, oddly enough nearly all my restaurant dollars go to "people of color". Mexicans mostly, some Indians and Thai folks as well.
They seem to be doing what white Americans used to do - work hard, take care of their families. (and they seem to define "family" in the normal way)

Another really good day (so far). Had breakfast with one of my grandsons, home from college for the holidays. Then went to H&H and put a few rounds into an innocent piece of paper, and now getting ready for go to lunch with my bride.

Taking 4 hours of an 8 hour course on how to inspect a contractor run, fire-stopped, supported, labeled, and documented cabling in a Central Office. Dry stuff.

Actually every day that goes by, and every specialist I see, reminds me just how lucky I am ... How am I not dead? Not paralyzed? Still breathing on my own ... I mean I could have very easily wound up like. Christopher Reeves and I can tell you right now I'd rather be dead.

Learning how much evil intent went into throwing the election.. I think From bottom to top the crooks should all face prison time or be hung.. Sydneys attitude put a smile on my face though..

Gurl you and me both, would not want to live like that. And yes you were very lucky and many times I have thought about you and said a prayer. Recovering from most things is 90 % attitude and it will take time but I believe you will fully recover. A great sense of humor only helps. Wishing you the most expedited recovery.
