They spelled his last name wrong, sounds similarbut spelled completely different…

Don't know why they had such a problem pronouncing his name. It's German and they pronounce the 'eu' diphthong as we would 'oi' or 'oy'. Think of Deutschland. the German name for Germany.

It helps to know a little Deutsch.
