Got some FN509 sleeves for the 17 round mags to fit the Compact. Didn't have black, so I got FDE. I'm at 2 hours boiling in black dye with no luck.

Picked up some more food for my Agency 119 Comp!

Yeah, but it was yesterday,,,
One teeny tiny tube of Purple Loctite.

I have a new CZ-457 Varmint At-One,,,
And a 11mm to Weaver adaptor rail that needs mounting.

I went to just about every place in Stillwater,,,
Looking for just one teeny tube of Purple Loctite.

I could find all the red that I would ever need,,,
But the non-permanent Purple was nowhere to be found.

The lack of that tube of purple Loctite,,,
Has kept me lust looking at my new rifle & scope.

I finally got O'Reiley Auto Parts to order me in a tube,,,
It arrived yesterday and I mounted the rail yesterday evening.

I did let the Loctite dry overnight as was recommended,,,
So today's task is to mount the Vortex Diamondback that I purchased for it.

Then Sunday morning it's an early range trip,,,
To pull the trigger for the first time,,,
And hopefully get it zero'd in.

Pretty pumped about this one. Tier 1 Axis slim holster for my 509c w/tlr7a. I have looked at tier1 holsters many times and was put off by the price. “It’s just a kydex holster! How different can it be from all the other kydex holsters?!” I was wrong. This thing is pure voodoo. I don’t know if it’s the angles everything sits at or if it’s the fit that comes from the flex between the holster and mag carrier but it’s freaking invisible! The 509c is a compact but it’s not super small, somewhere between a Glock 19 and a Glock 26. I’m also probably the right amount of “fat middle aged guy” for good appendix concealment. Super impressed with it. Will have a hard time buying anything else for appendix carry.

Very nice. I said the same about leather. Put some money into a rig that was high end with a maker who took their time and I was blown away. I'll never get anything different.

I don’t doubt it. I was excited to try this one but it surpassed my expectations by quite a bit. Just put a wedge on it, even better. Best purchase I’ve made since you told me to try the 509c!
