Centers of TP have gotten bigger while the outside stays the same diameter.
Now they have super sized rolls that contain the same number of sheets from the old TP and they jack the price.
When buying TP or paper towels, I look at the number of sq feet you get, then the price and just buy something I can live with.
They are always trying to fool you with "jumbo roll" and advertising crap like that.

Tabasco Sauce is so bland anymore they serve it all nursing homes.
Your absolutely correct. We visited Avery Island last November.
I remember when a kid, just a couple dots on an egg was more than enough heat. The sauce had to be shaken from the bottle to get a drop vs now when it pours out the same diameter hole that past bottles had.
After touring the tobasco facility, we ended up at the gift shop.
In the shop you can taste all the different sauces.
The raspberry chipotle on ice cream was incredible!
There was one bottle called the family reserve sauce. So I asked to try a sample of that.
Holy crap it was the sauce from the 60’s. Thick, dark and hotter than hades.
Just a few drops in a tiny spoon had me sweating with hair folicals tingling.
Asked the attendant where I could buy this stuff and she replied, your standing there. One place on earth to get the original recipe was the gift shop on Avery island.
I left with a tad over $200 worth. A year later wishing I’d doubled that order.
Man, that old recipie that was later changed in the 70’s is good.

I grew up with Tabasco on the table and it’s one of my favorites. Not sure if I’m old enough to have ever had the original you talk of but I think I’d like to find some. Pops would probably know what you are talking about. May have to ask my coon ass friend to send me some.

Was just googling it and it’s for sale on Amazon. $20 for a 5oz bottle. How much was it running in the Tabasco gift shop

It appears we were misinformed when told it was only available at the gift shop. I just verified it is indeed on Amazon. It was $20 + tax at the store so I’d go with Amazon.
I’m placing an order as we speak in case they decide to discontinue it.

When you start the Avery Island tour, the first thing your asked is if your active duty military or a veteran.
If you answer yes, the next question is what branch.
Once they find out they fill a small goodie bag with the bottles in your pic we got in our CRats when overseas with your branch of service on the label. One of our friends not with us is a marine so I asked if I could get some for him. They never hesitated in getting him a bag of some.
The Family that founded Tabasco has a big history of Military service and servicing our Military.
I think there are some of those little military branded bottles somewhere here in the RV. If I can find them, I’ll edit with a pic.

Don't get me started!

I asked a Walmart employee when my paycheck would arrive for becoming a checker? Then I asked the guy attempting to check my work at the door if he didn't trust my work as a checker with no training, to fire me. I was not going to show my receipt.

You should see the see through toilet paper they have inside porta potties.

Tabasco Sauce is so bland anymore they serve it all nursing homes.

I hate the self checkout. Are they really so short on help that they can’t pay a few more people just to ring you up and bag your items? They might have one or two actual checkout lines with a real cashier but they’re always backed up clear to the next department. I usually try to avoid that place when I can, I’d rather support the smaller supermarkets anyway.
