It's regarding the Creek Turnpike right around where it crosses over Garnett. There is the Park Church of Christ and an apartment complex just on the west side.

The entire stretch is elevated and is ridiculously wavy. It's like riding a gentle roller coaster at King's Island in Cincinnati.

How on earth did that ever pass inspection? It's the most ridiculous stretch of road work I've ever seen.

The bridge over the swamp has been wavy since it was constructed…… cant imagine the cost to remedy it

Same way the bridge on Kirkpatrick expressway toward the west end going west did and went years before it was repaired a few yrs ago.
Also the same way the bridges south of Collinsville on 169 were contracted to be coated with an epoxy sand type finish 2-4 yrs ago . The numb nuts work lasted 1 repeat 1 fall before the stuff was completely gone.
Inspectors on the TAKE in my view.

I used to cross it on my Harley every few days, felt like I was back in my Moto cross days! When any of y’all cross that part of the bridge look north and wave 👋, I live right by it.

I remember an interview with a OTA guy years ago when he was questioned about the roller coaster bridge, his arrogant response was something like “if you don’t like it, you can just take an alternate route”

IMO the OTA is nothing more than a PONZI scheme ran by a corrupt bunch of bureaucrats. OTA should have been disposed of decades ago when they couldn’t make good on the bonds, instead they extort the public on a daily basis.

The Cherokee Turpike near locust grove is a washboard and in a heavy pickup with 80 psi in the tires will beat you to death. I thought I was going to get sick it was so bad and I don’t get sea sick.
