Contest is open to Oklahoma Shooters members who have been a member on or before August 2009. Deer taken during any Oklahoma open season will be allowed. Contest will run from October 1st through January 15th, 2010. All deer pictures must be entered by January 17th, 2010. For proof of a 2009-10 kill a paper plate, with OSA Deer Hunt Contest 2009-10 wrote on it with a magic marker, must be held in the picture. Weapon of choice should be in the picture as well. With antlered deer a ruler, yard stick, or tape measure should be held up in the antlers for rough spread measurement in the pictures. Anything close to the 12 inch rule will err to the greater than spread. This is inside spread at the widest point. In case of a tie, winner will drawn from a hat. This years contest will have a 1st and 2nd place.
I am still coming up with prize(s) and am looking for donations of more prizes. I will purchase a $20 gift card for a start of the prize list.
