Appleseed will be holding a marksmanship clinic on August 7-8 near Chickasha, OK. This is a really nice location -- it is a dry oil well with a large clear-water pond just next to the range and camping area. Yes, it will be pretty hot, but at least there is that nice cool pond to take a dunk in after a long day of shooting! Camping is allowed on site. Full-distance shooting out to 400 yards will be available on Sunday afternoon. Sign up today -- there actually is limited space on this firing line. It will hold 35 people or so, max. Based on the turnout at the last several Oklahoma Appleseeds, this shoot will fill up.
If you want to improve your rifle marksmanship, no matter what your current skill level is, there is no better way than to attend an Appleseed shoot.
