I THINK when I met Cdschoonie the evening after the ENS he said he picked up his leather at Hobby Lobby. I could be wrong but that's ringing a bell.

I got some at a saddle shop, guy had some scraps he gave me. Got some other pieces at Hobby Lobby in a scrap bag for $10

Those bags at hobby lobby are called the 'ranchers pack' I think. The stock turns over daily and if you hit it two or three times in a week you can get some nice pieces
