I have had horrible teachers and so have my kids and taking a knee would be mild compared to what some of them did.

Same here, both me and my step son. One english teacher tried to fail me by not informing me of work. She was doing this because she found out I was trying to get into West Point. When she gave out grades about a month before the end of the semester I had a 27%. That's when she told me straight to my face "Well, there goes West Point for you!" Thankfully I had a good principle who forced her to allow me to make up all the work that she told me was extra credit. I ended up with a D as most of the stuff I turned in was graded low on purpose.

My step son was almost expelled permanently for something stupid. He was joking around with two girls in class who were reading a note one had given the other. He was pretending to read it and said something like this "blah blah blah I'll see you tomorrow, blah blah blah, we'll have fun, blah blah blah I'll kill you later, blah blah blah I'll have fun". Mind you he wasn't threatening them, it was just joking around. Apparently one of the girls supposedly had been threatened at another school so she went straight to the principle, who hauled my step son out of the class and slammed him up against the lockers, threatened to have him arrested unless he admitted to threatening them (he of course didn't tell us that much later). When we went to talk to the principle he told us he was going to expel him. I was livid. I went to see a principle at another school who I had when I was much younger and he helped to instead put my step-son on OSS and let him finish the school year at home then transfer to the middle school he was a principle at.

So yeah, these teachers are doing way worse than taking a knee.

We're gonna have to do something about this climate change stuff. And it's real, folks. Deniers are so very dangerous. It's a true scientific fact and it's going to kill us all. For our part me and the Mrs are going to by a home that uses more energy than 35 middle class homes. We were looking at one that uses 40 middle class homes worth of energy but decided we'd better sacrifice for the good of the planet. -Barack Obama, Hypocrite at Large

All these politicians and celebrities KNOW climate change is hokum. If they truly believed it was true, they would be living a very different life style.

I would suspect that the "scientists" that supported Gore's theory of Global Warming were either influenced, loyalists or paid. Other learned scientists who were impartial said that there was no such thing as Global Warming, it was simply part of a weather cycle and had happened many times before historically.

You can fool all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time, and that's apparently good enough odds for the professional liars....er, new democrat candidates (we're not socialists we just smell like them) :uhwhat:
