i probably will not have the optic mounted for HD. i already have a light. Thats why i want the quick detach mount. its just something i want to have i guess. something i could use to shoot pumpkins at 30 yards quickly, just fun stuff.

    saiga 12 optic

I'm not sending my money off to those Communists! Jk. I do like that aimpoint mount. I have always used holo sights I wonder if I could get used to an inclosed red dot.I like a few of their optics but they all mount really high. There is a picture of a Guy holding an AK with an aimpoint if you...

    saiga 12 optic

Looking for some suggestions for a mount and optic for a saiga I just converted to. use for HD. I really want to use the factory side attachment point with a quick detach mount that hugs the reciever pretty tight. I do not want to be able to use the iron sights with the mount on. Also...

    Saiga 12 conversion help

I went looking for a pump action home defense 12 gauge last week and somehow i ended up with a new Saiga 12...I have never owned an AK style rifle. I held this gun up one time and decided this is not going to work without a pistol grip. So what i really need to know is about the legality of the...

    Rebarreling a mosin...to .44 Mag

WoW MoBoost, there must be something wrong with those people on snipers hide. They have shilen blanks and nightforce scopes on 65 dollar MN actions that are only rated to like 45k PSI. Why not spend like 50 more dollars and get a Mauser action... or a few hundred and get a Rem 700 or Savage 110...

    Rebarreling a mosin...to .44 Mag

thanks CB but i already welded a loop on the back of the safety. That has to be the poorest designed safety of all time. And that barrel stub thing... so you have to drill out the old barrel and tap it to accept the outside threads you would have to cut on the blank? That seems dangerous...

    Rebarreling a mosin...to .44 Mag

So i have been looking at people talking about doing this on a bunch of other forums. I actually checked and the .44 mag will feed out of the Mosin magazine. i would just have to fabricate a follower. (on an off topic note, it will also feed a .410 shotgun shell) I found some barrel blanks here...

    Only one "All Purpose" handgun

High cap. 9mm is all good and well with extra hot loads...till you get a dud primer or any other array of things that could cause the gun to not cycle. I agree not common, but possible. Then my gp-100 will be there to save the day!

    10/22 magazine issues

I would take the factory mags apart. Out of the wide array of 10/22 mags that i own the factory ones probably perform the best. possible the new ones have some burring inside you may be able to clean up. And i also agree ammo tolerance possibly being a problem. The biggest problem i have had...

    Who knows about FN-FALs?

My dad has a Springfield with the wood furniture. it is super easy to shoot. The only problem he has ever had was it broke a small piece off the front of the bolt the second time we shot it. it still shot as we did not notice it until we went to clean it. found a bolt at a gun show and problem...
