I'm gonna have to pass on this one. I have two, 3 day drill weekends that month. She, who must be obeyed, will not be ok with me being gone three weekends that month. Hopefully I will be able to catch the next one, if there is one.
I smile every time that one comes up in conversation. My biological father was the head waiter there for years, and is the same guy that was Raggedy Andy. My wife has pictures from a birthday party from when she turned 9(I think), and he's in the photos as their waiter.
In case anyone is interested, this is the shoe I settled on for the moment...

The vibram rubber on the sole, and the british tan color was the deciding factor.
Thanks to all who have commented. I see a lot of shoes I like the look of, but I need to find the time to go irritate a salesman trying them all on. I have a pair of Dockers oxford type shoes that will get me by for the time being, but have noticed in the past that at about the 6-7 hour mark...
The school is OSU Okmulgee. They have a Rolex sponsored program and when I complete it I will be Rolex and ETA certified. Now, if you know anything about watches, then you know that ETA supplies a very large portion of the watch industry. I would love to go out on my own and get a Rolex parts...
I'm old enough to get the reference :wink2:. I have small feet for this day and age. Size 9. Maybe someday I'll get into the expensive shoes, but right now I'm just looking at good quality entry level stuff
Watchmaking. Seriously.
I see a lot of good suggestions. Thanks guys. For those that suggested the cowboy boots, I've just never been a cowboy boot kind of guy, but my wife would probably be giddy with excitement should I decide one day to wear them.
I know we have a few Professionals of the slacks/suit and tie type on here. Does anyone have a suggestion for a dress type shoe that a guy can wear comfortably 12-13 hours a day? I start my school program next week and a program requirement is for me to wear slacks, button down shirt w/tie and...
My dad always kept a couple gallons of this around, so I kind "grew up" drinking it too. Crown Royal is his favorite, but being the depression era farm boy that he is, he can't bring himself to pay those prices and gets Canadian Windsor instead.
Been there, done that.
I don't think I've dated a woman that wasn't screwed up in some way. A good friend of mine says the looney bitches are just drawn to me for some reason. Best piece of advice I was ever given, and have given to my own sons is... "All women are crazy, but you have to figure...
I know a First Sergeant, who at different times has been my squad leader and platoon sergeant, that will break them out from time to time.
Maybe this thread should turn into a dirty cadence thread?
90-97... 2005-current
The xxx rated cadences were still around when I was in during the 90s, but you quickly got a mudstomp in your suckhole if someone caught you.
True, but you'd have oh so much more style if you could :D
edit: No, no demonstration video. Just pop the mag, but leave it in the magwell. Place lanyard loop underneath the rim of bottlecap, with mag resting on top of cap and pry. No ********, a Navy SEAL taught me that.
