I know we have a few Professionals of the slacks/suit and tie type on here. Does anyone have a suggestion for a dress type shoe that a guy can wear comfortably 12-13 hours a day? I start my school program next week and a program requirement is for me to wear slacks, button down shirt w/tie and dress shoes. I have to be standing tall ready to go at 7:15 AM daily, and the earliest I'll get out is 3:30, hence the extended comfort aspect.

Ecco, go try them on at Dillard's and buy them on Amazon.

I used to work retail 12-15 hours a day and that's what works, still wear them due to comfort. Ain't cheap tho.

Birkenstock makes some dress shoes and they are amazing in my opinion on foot comfort but are $150 plus.

I also like Rockport shoes for comfort.

Currently I am wearing Cole Haan Nike Airs and they are pretty good too.

Congrats on the program, what is it for?

I wear Clark's unStructured. Most comfortable I've ever had. They have an outlet store at The Shoppes Outlet off I-40 and Rockwell. About $75 to $125 depending.
