Hunting with a 300 aac blackout

Hello everyone I just received my yankee hill blackout and will be using it for hunting and plinking. I will be running a Liberty Freedom suppressor on it. Has anyone tried using sub ammo on deer and what was the out come of it please share your stories and pics also advice on this. I was thinking also trying some supersonic ammo like 125gr bullets or 168gr idk.

make sure and consider impact velocity when selecting ammo for hunting. If i recall, most ammo need at least 1600 fps at impact (not muzzle velocity) for proper expansion. I have been reading up on 300 blackout loads and many people have had excellent accuracy with different 110 grain ammo; others as well.

18.5 grains of AA1680 with a 175 grain Sierra Match King gives me right at 1700 fps out of my Bolt rifle. That is near max in that rifle. If you try for that, work up to it. A gas operated rifle will bleed off some of the pressure over what I am seeing in the bolt rifle or the Encore. The 16.5" barrel on the Encore limits what velocity I can get with the bigger bullets.

Can we now legally hunt with a suppressed weapon? I thought not, but haven't researched this.

You can if it's on private land and you have permission from the owner.

I'm wanting to build one for deer n pigs. These are what I'm thinking would be the best for hunting. I haven't used any but from research these seem to be the best options.
