Sounds like an ultra run-n-gun but they do have water stations.

Anybody done it or know anything about it?

Maybe on a 4 wheeler, but not on foot, eff that. Lot of shooting, says that much ammo and not miss, so you'd need a tacticle wagon to pull behind your wheeler

17 to 18 miles? Nearly the length of a half marathon with shooting stages. That's not really simulating a bug out LOL.

You should look it up and do some research. I've known some texas folk that've done it. It'll be a learning experience, guaranteed.

Yeah. No. LOL. That's beyond my current desire for "learning".

Ranger School ruck march: 12 miles
Average Appalachian trail through-hiker pace per day: 10-15 miles

That's all without stopping to "fight". 18 miles with shooting stages falls into the category of: You don't have to eat sh&it to know what it tastes like!
