The o-ring on the mag tube is a great place to check first. Look for a cut, tear or just a worn spot. A bunch of oil on mag tube will do it too.

O rings, mag tube and gas ports are a good place to start. Had one do that to me one time and since I'm not good at taking guns apart I paid someone to strip clean it for me. He actually found a piece of shot in the area behind the bolt. I don't think Houdini could have gotten in there but that pellet did.

When your putting on that new O-ring, put tape on the threads. Those threads will commonly put micro cuts in the ring, making it fail or break earlier. Check cleaness of gun and don't over oil it.
