I'm not going to run out and buy a 10/22 or shoot 223 just to go to an event. [QUOTE="NightShade, post: 3121470, member: 29706"] Not that I have seen. They are still on their "list" and from what I could tell it was the newer version that does not have the quad rail that was the most problematic due to the out of battery issues, what I gathered was the old version with the quad rail did not have this happen. Both had the chance to runaway due to the hammer and trigger pins walking a little so that the sear could not engage properly. My guess is it will now be a government style thing of proving their is not a dangerous malfunction with a rifle that has the captured pins over 50k rounds while four officials watch the whole thing. Or they expect a recall to happen so that they can be reworked with tolerances that are not quite as tight so they will run dirty. It's too bad since pretty much any 22lr can have an oob detonation, even the 10/22's have it happen. Looking at a post about it showed they helped send one back and it was chocked up to fouling for the OOB and the other was due to incorrect ammo and another issue was due to the pins shifting. Either way doesn't matter to me really, mine has shot perfectly and the pins always gave me the creeps so getting them changed to the captured style makes me happy.
