1911 suppressed no booster?

Anyone shot a 1911 suppressed with no booster? I’ve read mixed reviews so wanted some real answers, thanks!

If you find a super lightweight can it will function. But usually not that quiet.
A standard size can, if your lucky will not operate the slide and jam up. You operate the slide manually as a single shot.
