2 questions on the Gen4 Glock 22

I have read that the 22 3rd gen has some FTF issues with a light attached, so much so that some LEOs were trading them for M&Ps. Did Glock address this problem with the Gen 4? 2nd, Has anyone done a 40 to 9 conversion with the drop in barrel? If so, has the 9 been reliable?

From what i have heard and read, the Gen4's have no had the issues with the light. I seem to remember that the later gen3's had this resolved as well, but i dont remember the exact details.
