I like the idea of sb658, but it seems poorly worded. That one needs some serious revisions. SB833 is much better. Plus I like the carry on school property with permission. That way if a school district choose to, they can hire armed security or accept volunteer guards to patrol the schools.

The big part of SB837 besides removal of fingerprinting is reducing the application fee to $35.00!! Now, I like the low fee, but honestly, I think we should run the fingerprints. I think it would make for a more thorough FBI check. We don't' need some loon getting a permit and making the rest of us look bad.
