2016 Morels

We walked all over about half an 80-acre lot yesterday, never saw a single mushroom at all, much less morel. It seemed prime mushroom territory, too, by what I've read.


We're gonna try again in a couple days, then maybe next weekend, too.

Looked a little this afternoon but nothing, and wasn't expecting anything. Was amazed at how green the floor was getting already though. Won't be long.

Well.... no. I mean... I didn't see any. We looked pretty carefully, but, I can't PROMISE there weren't any. We looked pretty close, though.

yeah I know, I'm just messin. Hope you find some, it gets kinda disheartening going out 3-4 times where you think there should be some and draw blanks...but keep looking. Sometimes they pop up in the most unthinkable spots..
