I bought a new suppressor recenetly and I had a quick question.

Am I allowed to travel out of state with my suppressor as long as I have my paperwork? Say, to Texas.

I don't know the answer for Texas. I do know that the can is prohibited in some states. Don't take it to California even if the travel you ask about is "allowed."

As long as it is legal at your destination you can take it anywhere thanks to the FOPA of '86 (also banned machineguns...thanks NRA...). I wouldn't test the law by going to TX via NY though. Any NFA item not including suppressors and AOWs you have to have an approved form 5320.20 to travel interstate with your NFA items.
