I went to the range on Tuesday and fired my High Standard Sentinel Mark IV (22WMR) revolver for the first time. I really like this gun! 4" barrel, 9 rounds, and more accurate than I am. And, the ammo is about the same price as 9mm --- well, maybe cheaper at the current time! It's a keeper for sure.
My wife has a Marlin in 22 WMR, it is ammo sensitive, eats 3 different brands real well, she buys the every time she sees them. When she messed up and buys wrong them the rough rider gets to eat.
My brother bought 22 wmr one time not knowing and thinking he was getting 22lr to help replace what he was shooting of my 22lr, so I inherited it. Only gun I have to run it in is a Ruger Single Six that has the magnum cylinder, it may never get shot.
