Nice looking fab work on the brackets! Do you think you will end up taking out the expanded metal in front of the lights? Since the lights are so tough.

I'm still on the fence about removing it or leaving it. I like the added protection but hate that it adds to the needed rust repair and will make cleaning on the trail harder. If I remove it I have less protection, I have to re fab the grill / mesh, but I don't have to worry about rust repair. Regardless of what route I take it shouldn't effect the way it's currently mounted.

I'm not sure who suggested placing the smaller cubes in the upper and lower grill but I think we are going to go that route. I noticed when they were side by side with the 22" light bar it made it impossible to get a tool in there to adjust any of the lighting. By leaving the middle portion open it allows me to get my hand behind the grill to work on the lighting.

I would opt for taking the expanded metal out of the picture, let the lights not be hindered at all on output behind the expanded metal. Most brush will be pushed out and down by the guard it self and the bumper, heck the way your doing it up so good, you will be building that rig a custom front bumper for a big ole honking winch anyway real soon, then you know the brush won't ever get to those lights!!!!!

In all honesty I have plans to build a new rear and front bumper, a roof rack, and rock sliders. After all that I plan to loft it 4-6" and go with a 35" instead of the 33"
