Excellent story. My sympathies for the author for losing his father at such a young age.

While I have owned a Browning semi-auto .22, I ended up needing to trade it for a bolt action. With a semi-auto, I was going through too much ammo and really needed to "bear down" and take more time for each shot.

JMB was da man... Nomad/Challenger/Buckmark, A5, HI Power, BAR, 1919, M2, etc...
Not just Browning's name on it but also what he's designed that you will see Colt, Winchester, Remington to name a few.
