Dustin who set up your paperwork and did the barrel for you? I am getting ready to do my GSG-5 SBR and Suppressed.

I got the suppressor from Maj Malfunction and Mechanical Accuracy in Jones did the barrel chop and thread. It isn't an SBR so the can was the only paperwork.

I hope you don't mind my asking but, What did they charge? How long did they have your rifle?

I think it was 75 for the thread job. He had my rifle for about 5 weeks, but he became pretty ill while he had it so it was understandable. Steve originally quoted me about 10 days. The work was phenomenal. I was very pleased with it. The thread protector is an additional $25 if I remember correctly.

Steve is a great guy and does awesome work. I have high standards for such things and he really impressed me with his work. I'm probably going to let him build my 338 now. I know it'll be perfect and I'll save probably a grand.

+1 for the guys at Mech Accuracy. They threaded one for me, and turned it around in about 4 or 5 days. I think that it was right after he got over his illness. Regardless, they are great people and super helpful.

Do you have to have your tax stamp before they will do it?

If you're doing an SBR, he can't cut the barrel until it is stamped. Technically he can, but just wait.
