AEB-L stainless I've been working on

    Trying to make a more compact EDC and came up with this one. Each is 7 1/2 inches long with a 3 3/4 blade. The steel is AEB-L stainless with elk antler scales or Box Elder burl. Those sheaths make my fingers hurt

    thanks guys, I've not used stainless for bolsters much. I'm not really into shiny knives. I do like the AEB-L steel though. I'm diggin how sharp it gets and seems to hold a edge for a long time.

    It does hold an edge well, one of my favorite kitchen steels. If you like aeb-l, you should try some nitro-v

    I've been reading up on Nitro-V I plan on making a few from that steel.
