Ok guys I saw an old Sears Roebuck single shot 22 for sale in a little town store. They aren't asking much for it at all. they had a couple other old stephens 22 also. but I like the looks of this little singe shot. There is no markings on the gun other than the Sears Roebuck and co. model 101.2830 which I did a little research andI think it is a savage model 73. Correct me if I am wrong. Is there any value in them? The gun itself is actually in really nice condition. no rust on the thing or pitting. wood stock is nice no scratches or scuffs just real dark like wood does.

I don't know if that particular model has any special value or not, but in general, a lot of the older .22s typically are worth $100-$150 +/- $100 based on condition and features. Bolt action, mag fed guns with grooved receivers will *typically* get more $$ than single shot, semis, or tube mag guns. Not an expert opinion, but just my observations.

High end guns, special editions, etc excluded.
