I saw a pickup take out the center section of a wooden electric pole. The sucker went airborne doing about 100 MPH and smoked that pole with the center of the truck dead center of the pole shearing it off about seven feet up from the ground and 5 feet down from the electrical crossbars. The electrical lines held up the top and the bottom just leaned a bit. It was like it was precut just waiting for a vehicle to hit it. The pole slowed him down so much he lived to tell the story, in jail.
