Any chance our new House Speaker might make a move toward de-listing suppressors from the NFA list?

For whatever reason, Republicans have deliberately ignored this issue, ignoring the hearing safety aspect while bowing instead to the terrified hysterics of people who have seen too many spy movies featuring nearly inaudible "silencers". Maybe there's a chance that Mike Johnson will do something?

There is talk of a similar measure to that passed in Texas regarding in state NFA items going through OK state legislature that might actually have a chance. Have a few that could go out of state with me already. Wouldn’t mind having one or two NFA free instate items as well.

I read somewhere a few years ago that the bill concerning suppressors is on Mitch McConnells desk, and he won't let it come up for a vote. Have no idea if it's true.
