Thinking on buying a Gen4 G17 and wanted to know if there are any issues with them.
The Gen 4 9mm's are oversprung IMO.
The Gen 4 40's are the best they've made in that caliber IMO.

I have a Gen4 G22 and have put A LOT of rounds through this pistol and it's been totally reliable, even with my weaker reloads. I couldn't be more pleased.
FYI - The G17 was a bit over sprung and seemed to be causing FTF with weaker ammo/reloads. Glock has fixed that with the lighter "02" recoil spring.
I wouldn't hesitate purchasing either one...

My 4th gen G22 is now my favorite Glock ( even over my 3rd gen G35's)
It has 2000+ thougth it now and not a single failure ( there have been a few that I've caused but thats not on the gun)
My Gen 4 G17 has been okay, the new 02 spring for them may help some.
I cant wait till the 4th gen G35 gets out!!!!!!!!!!!!
What are you swaping it out with? The 4th generation is not compatible with earlier generations.
I also heard it was not compatible

Got both a G22 and a G17, no problem with either one.
How can I tell if I have a 02 spring and if I don't where do I get one?
I kinda like the current spring, it seems to soften the recoil a bit but I might get the 02 for light loads.
