Anyone ever use a drone as a target camera?

Let us know how it works! That sounds like a great idea. What range are you looking at? I need something that will go to at least 300 yds but would like up to 1000 if possible.

there is a guy on craigslist in OKC that has a target cam forsale, or at least a few days ago.

Yea I have the phantom 3 advanced. You could fly it to the target and land it there if there was flat ground and nothing around, but even then its kinda weird/hard to land when you're not right near by keeping a close eye on things. Flight time is about 20 minutes on the phantom 3's. You could set the drone at the target at the beginning, connect it to your phone, and then go back to where you're going to shoot from and never even have to fly it. I would assume if you did that the battery time would be quite a bit longer since your just using it as a monitor/camera and not actually flying it.
