Great company you work for. They appear to support their employees vs the almighty buck.I'm so sorry to hear of all of the job losses going on. You know it's happening, but it hits home when folks we talk with regularly are directly affected. I'll pray that all of you find employment as soon possible. I work for a company that supports the gaming industry. There are a lot of layoffs going around in this industry too, especially since the Paycheck Protection act does not cover payroll support for anyone in the gaming industry. Luckily for me, the company I work for is a small, privately owned, very successful operation. Our incredible ownership team was better positioned than most to whether this storm, and have not laid off a single employee, although we've been shut down for over a month now. I'm on weekly conference calls with them to go over our plans for opening back up. Their dedication to keep every employee on the payroll, while taking extra precautions when opening is inspiring. Every other support company that I'm aware of has had to lay off some folks, and I guessing some of the casinos will be following suit shortly. My fingers are crossed that we'll all be able to go back to work soon.
Indeed they are. The ownership team has stopped taking salaries to help keep payroll going for everyone. They're an incredible group of people.Great company you work for. They appear to support their employees vs the almighty buck.
